Nirosh is a seasoned insurance professional with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, bringing a wealth of expertise from working with both leading insurance brokers and insurers. His career is distinguished by leadership in managing complex insurance portfolios for international clients and prominent conglomerates, along with strengths in business development, strategic management, and creating innovative client solutions.

Since joining the Hirdaramani Group in 2018 as CEO of Zenith Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd, Nirosh has been pivotal in driving the company’s growth and cementing its position as a leading broker in the market through forward-thinking insurance solutions.

Mr. Nirosh Gooneratne served as a Council Member of the Sri Lankan Insurance Brokers Association in 2022 and has been serving as the Treasurer of the Association since 2023.

Prior to this role, Nirosh held senior management positions with top-tier insurers and Insurance brokers, where he led initiatives for strategic growth. In addition to his role at Zenith, Nirosh serves as Treasurer for the Sri Lanka Insurance Brokers Association, further contributing to the advancement of the insurance sector in Sri Lanka.

He holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, a Higher Diploma in Business Management, a Diploma in Marketing, and is a Certified Professional Marketer (CPM) status for Asia Pacific, accredited by the Asia Marketing Federation.
